01Nature of Services

sips after midnight provides astrological analysis and interpretation services based on astronomical data and interpretive frameworks. Our readings are intended for personal insight, self-discovery, and informational purposes. They are not scientifically validated and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision. Our Services do not constitute and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Services include natal chart interpretations, synastry compatibility analyses, and related astrological consultations.

Our readings are not a substitute for professional advice. Specifically, they are not medical advice, psychological or mental health counseling, legal advice, financial or investment advice, or relationship or marriage counseling. You should always consult qualified licensed professionals for matters relating to health, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional concerns.

02No Guarantees or Warranties

All Services are provided "as is" without any warranties or guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We make no guarantee that any reading will be accurate, that any prediction or interpretation will come true, that any advice or insight will be applicable to your situation, or that you will achieve any particular outcome as a result of a reading.

Astrological interpretations are subjective and based on the practitioner's knowledge and intuition. Different astrologers may provide different interpretations of the same chart data. The inclusion of asteroid, comet, and other celestial body data in our readings does not imply scientific validity or guaranteed accuracy of interpretation.

03Assumption of Risk

By purchasing a reading, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily and at your own risk. You agree that you will not make any major life decisions — including but not limited to decisions about relationships, finances, career, health, legal matters, or personal safety — based solely on the contents of any reading.

You are solely responsible for any actions you take or decisions you make after receiving a reading. We bear no responsibility for the consequences of any decisions made based on information contained in a reading.

04Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, sips after midnight, its owner, members, agents, contractors, and affiliates (collectively, "we," "us," or "our") shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our Services, regardless of the theory of liability.

This includes, without limitation, any damages arising from reliance on information provided in a reading, emotional distress or psychological impact, decisions made based on readings, loss of income, revenue, or profits, loss of data or personal information, or any other damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific reading giving rise to the claim.

05Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless sips after midnight, its owner, members, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of our Services, your violation of these Terms, any decision or action you take based on a reading, or your violation of any rights of any third party.

06Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a reading. By purchasing a reading, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are purchasing a reading involving a minor's birth chart, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor.

07Birth Data & Accuracy

You are solely responsible for providing accurate birth information (full name, date of birth, exact time of birth, and location of birth). We are not responsible for inaccuracies in readings that result from incorrect, incomplete, or approximate birth data provided by you.

For synastry readings, you represent that you have the right to share the other person's birth data and that you have their consent to do so.

08Payment & Pricing

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Payment is due in full at the time of booking. All payments are processed through third-party payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal) and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been paid for.

09Refund Policy

Written readings (PDF): Due to the personalized nature of our readings, all sales are final once work has begun on your reading. If your reading has not yet been started, you may request a full refund within 24 hours of purchase by contacting us via email. Once a reading has been delivered, no refunds will be issued.

Live audio readings: If you need to reschedule, you must do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable. If we need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, you will be offered a new time or a full refund at your choice.

Dissatisfaction: While we strive to provide the highest quality readings, dissatisfaction with the content, interpretations, or conclusions of a reading is not grounds for a refund. By purchasing a reading, you acknowledge that astrological interpretation is subjective.

10Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines (e.g., 3–5 days for natal charts, 5–7 days for synastry readings) are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delivery times may vary based on volume and complexity. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within stated timeframes but shall not be liable for delays.

11Intellectual Property

All readings, content, copy, graphics, design, and other materials on this website and delivered as part of our Services are the intellectual property of sips after midnight and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your reading is licensed for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, publish, or publicly share the contents of your reading without our written consent. You may share brief excerpts for personal (non-commercial) purposes such as social media posts, provided you credit "sips after midnight."

12Privacy & Data

We collect personal information necessary to provide our Services, including your name, email address, birth data (date, time, location), and payment information. Birth data is used solely for the purpose of creating your reading.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to process payments (via Stripe or PayPal) or as required by law. Payment information is handled entirely by our third-party payment processors and is not stored by us.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will comply within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

13Recordings (Live Sessions)

Live audio sessions may be recorded for the purpose of providing you with a copy after the session. By participating in a live session, you consent to being recorded. Recordings are for your personal use only and may not be distributed, published, or shared publicly without our written consent.

14Third-Party Tools & Services

Our Services may reference or utilize third-party tools, platforms, and data sources (such as astronomical databases, scheduling platforms, and payment processors). We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or reliability of any third-party service.

References to NASA, JPL, or any other scientific organization in our marketing materials are references to publicly available data sources and do not imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation of any kind.

15Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in the State of Wyoming. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

16Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

19Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and sips after midnight regarding your use of our Services and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
